Pragmatic Play donates €100,000 to British Red Cross for Turkey-Syria relief efforts

Pragmatic Play has made news this week with an impressive donation towards ongoing Turkey – Syria relief efforts following a deadly earthquake on Monday, 6th February 2023.

The donation was made to British Red Cross based in Gibraltar to aid relief efforts currently undertaken by the association in both countries.

Pragmatic Play in aid of those in need

Popular games developer Pragmatic Play has given €100,000 to the British Red Cross in Gibraltar.

The donation is meant to help people in Turkey and Syria that have been impacted by the destructive 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck the two countries during the first week of February.

The earthquake has already claimed over 50,000 lives, with the death toll expected the rise further.

Julian Jarvis, CEO of Pragmatic Play, said, “What has happened in Turkey and Syria is truly devastating. Pragmatic Play stands in solidarity with all those affected, and we are proud to support the British Red Cross and their contribution to humanitarian efforts in the region. Cdr Edward L Davier RN, in charge of Gibraltar’s Red Cross Branch, has thanked Pragmatic Play for their donation, stating that the money will help support more people impacted by the disaster.
